We just finished our Summer Splash 4th of July Art Event.  We were successful in fundraising 5000 dollars for Sammi Awards Foundation. 

At our event we had over 450 kids (>150 partners) come together to paint while using brushes, and sponges to paint on the panel canvases. All the kids had such a great time painting!

 

One of the projects that we had running was the Community Art Project. We had 4 canvases painted four different colors: Red, Green, Blue, and Yellow. From the beginning of the event to the end the 4 canvases were transformed into 4 amazing pieces of art. Every kid that helped us create the masterpiece was enjoying every moment holding the brush and painting.

 

At the end of the night we raffled of so many prizes including many raffle baskets, gift cards, and even a Microsoft XBOX 360. Everyone who won the raffle were so excited to win while also supporting Sammi Awards and the community!

 

The day after the event we calculated all of our expenses and we were so excited to give Sammi Awards $5000 dollars! They were thrilled to recieve so much, and all from families in Sammamish!

 

We would like to give a big Thank You to all of the kids who came, our sponsor, and the volunteers that worked so hard to make this event possible. And special thanks to the City of Sammamish, Sammi Awards, Daniel Smith, Meylah, Pine Lake Pizzeria, Accents et cetera, Home Depot, Staples, Yo Plateau, QFC, Fred Meyers, Kids Without Borders, Sherwin-Williams, Sylvan Learning Center, and Microsoft XBOX Group!
